Every so often I get a sense of claustrophobia... of being stuck in the same routine, same place and same country. This is probably not very healthy and I hear you saying "just suck it up" or "harden up you softie" because school, uni, and eventually work will become some sort of routine that I just have to adapt to.

I decided that I need something to look forward to. Not just "the weekend", but something more exciting like a trip to the US of A or something completely different like volunteering at a charity organisation to put my life back into perspective. I've been thinking about giving up a weeknight each week to volunteer at the soup kitchen or something similar... if anyone is keen please let me know :)

With the 3 month+ break at the end of the year I am going to do something other than vegetate at home, and if I don't, you can all rub your feet on my pillow.

These people are my parents, my mother who is doing some kind of silly pose and father... who didn't really attend university in Paris. Somebody take me back to the snooooooow... (or to Paris...)

7 days til I get on a plane and leave for another continent
6 days til my last day at school and the first day of "real" freedom (let's cross our fingers for extra luck)
5 days til my last Sunday of the year spent in Australia
4 days til the first milestone
3 days til Friday. What's not to love about Friday?
2 days til my last ever Chinese exam, ever.
and 1 day til just another ordinary Wednesday with no spares...

I wish Thursday would just freaking hurry up, I have had enough of you, Chinese 2nd language. After the 19th I will no longer have to write another Chinese essay in my entire life. I do not want to spend another minute studying, just hit me with the exam already! I just want it over and done with, done and dusted. Clearly I'm not a very patient person, with me wanting to finish high school and start working, no scratch that, I'd like to retire and sit in my rocking chair beside the fireplace all day sipping tea.

Happy birthday :)

Such an old, poppy mainstream song but I still really enjoyed it :) By the way they used to go to Haileybury... so yeah just promoting a bit of the black and magenta there.

1st day of year 12 today and I couldn't ask for better teachers or timetable. Today went by so quickly and I have no classes tomorrow! Well... except for a House meeting in the morning and Assembly and Sport later in the day, but absolutely nothing in between, so we might be escaping to the beach... (Chinese exam? What Chinese exam?)

The Apprentice is on tonight!!!

Got sick of trying to study for Chemistry, found it hard to concentrate on working with moles when this catchy song was stuck in my head.

**edit
My parents have officially given me permission to fail the Chemistry exam tomorrow. I love life!
